‘Without a Trace’ season 3 began airing on September 23, 2004 with the episode entitled ‘In the Dark’. Season third picks up the things where they’re last left by the second season finale. We see that Jack doesn’t go to Chicago so is back to his work. His return results in the loss of promotion for Vivian and results in friction among the team. During the third season, Vivian undergoes a heart surgery. A secret romance blossoms between Martin and Samantha which ends on a very bad note. Disappearances during third season are: - a blind gal and her companion during a camping trip; a sci-fi fanatic who disappears from his apartment; a nanny goes missing along with the kid she takes care of; a young mother who is involved in transporting drugs; a homeless woman; Tara Patterson disappears from a bus stop and the team investigates this somehow surprising disappearance; Mac, a prisoner; Rosie Diaz, a postal worker; a twenty something old spoiled heiress; Lance Hamilton, a successful real estate agent; a young woman named Agnes Deschamps; a 13 year old gal named Amber Bryce etc. Season finale ‘Endgame’ was aired on May 19, 2005. Season ends with a cliffhanger when Martin and Danny’s car is set on fire by a hired mercenary.
