Season 1
‘Without a Trace’ season 1 was premiered on September 26, 2008 with the season opener entitled ‘Pilot’. Season opens with the Missing Persons’ Squad as they unravel the mystery of a missing 28 year old female marketing executive. Next is the sequence of various investigations, carried out during the first season of series: Gabe Freedman goes to a baseball game, on his eleventh birthday, with his father. He gets lost and his father calls up the team to investigate the case. A lady gets abducted and team has doubts on her husband, who was standing just a few yards away from the place she got kidnapped. The whole team investigates the disappearance of a 19 year old model. Andy Weaver, a 17 year old guy, goes away from his private boarding school and the team struggles to find out some evidences. The vice president of an investment banking firm has disappeared and the Missing Persons’ Squad is set to find out the truth behind this disappearance. William Hope, a teenager is the next missing one whom the team tries to locate. Circumstances lead Martin to think that a doctor with South Arabian descent may be a terrorist. A father and a daughter go for their routine jobs but never come back.
So, the team investigates their whereabouts. Mid-season episode ‘Maple Street’ shows that Annie Miller disappears and the team puts all its efforts to locate her. Kathy Dobson, a pregnant woman disappears from a Hospital and it’s a challenge for Missing Persons’ Squad to find her out. The team uses untraditional methods to investigate the disappearance of a flight attendant. Disappearance of a bride makes the team to explore the relationship between the newlyweds. The Office of Professional Responsibility investigates the team and their actual target is Jack. Season comes to an end on May 15, 2003 with the episode entitled ‘Fall Out (2)’.

There’s one case, Jack can never forget about. Chet Collins’s boy was kidnapped four years earlier, and he’s still searching for him. One day Chet gets lost and it’s Jack’s only goal to save him.
