‘Without a Trace‘ is fast-paced procedural drama which focuses on the personal as well as professional lives of the Missing Persons’ unit of FBI, New York. The sole objective, of this very special unit, is to peel-off the layers of victims’ lives in order to trace their whereabouts, using the vast resources of their department. The team of dedicated professionals in ‘Without a Trace’ is headed by Senior Agent Jack Malone, and the rest of the team includes agent Samantha Spade, who possesses good looks but doesn’t allow her looks to come in the way of her profession; Vivian Johnson is a no-nonsense investigator; Danny Taylor, a private agent; and Martin Fitzgerald, the latest entrant to the team. Show is known for its characteristic display of real-life information of missing persons at the end of most episodes. Each episode carries out search of a missing person, also illustrating the reasons and circumstances under which he went missing. It shows, minute-by-minute, the procedure used by the team to locate the missing person.

Series premiered on September 1, 2002 and it has completed six successful seasons and during these six seasons, various incidents occurred which made it one of the best loved crime-based shows of CBS. Seventh season has already announced and it’ll commence on September 23, 2008.
