She reveals that the naming ceremony was organized a week ahead of her delivery. That day, her father-in-law stepped into the nursing home, looking terrified with the knowledge of her grandson’s name as Jack.

The first line that came out of his mouth was that whatever it is, the baby couldn’t be called Jack as it leaves an unpleasant effect when pronounced together. Poppy realized her mistake, and the only name that she could come up with instantly was Jackson.

Peculiar and funny names are not uncommon in the Montgomery household. Poppy admits that her mother loved flowers, and hence, her siblings have names like Rosie Thorn, Daisy Yellow, Lily Belle, Marigold Sun and Jethro Tull!

Last but not the least, the actress herself had to shorten her strangely long name to avoid mockery of it in the industry.

Her full name is Poppy Petal Emma Elizabeth Deveraux Donahue Montgomery.
